FeminIsrael is a joint project of the WZO/Hagshama and the American Zionist Movement being held to celebrate March as Women’s History Month. FeminIsrael highlights and celebrates Israeli women, their accomplishments, and their contributions to Israeli society and the world.
Meet Netally Schlosser, an Israeli painter and the winner of the Osnat Mozes Young Artist Painting Prize (2009) and the Rappaport Prize (2007). Her work focuses on portraits of women by exaggerating some of their feminine traits. Netally also works with refugees in Tel Aviv’s pooerest neighborhoods, promoting tolerance and acceptance for those from all backgrounds.
