“Every accomplishment starts with the decision to try.” – Anonymous

Shabbat Shalom!

This past Sunday, Women’s League for Conservative Judaism held our annual meeting at Temple Torat Emet in Delray Beach. The outpouring of love, friendship and happy faces, as we saw old friends, from years of involvement in our regions and international organization was evident all day long.

There are so many different members to thank…our staff…and leadership, but it was the combination of everyone coming together that made the day such a success. It started with a desire, a dream to hold our annual meeting in South Florida where many of our members spend the winter. And, every success begins with a dream, a desire to try something new….and the feeling of accomplishment when it all works out!

But, the lesson learned, is that we must try…we must dream…and we must thank everyone along the way! I encourage everyone to check out all of the pictures of our annual meeting and study day last Sunday on our Facebook page. It was wonderful seeing so many seats filled, with warm smiles!

We were able to share what has been happening around WLCJ…and what to expect in the months to come. On February 7th and 8th, we will be holding our next Leadership Institute in Atlanta, Georgia. Our goal is to have two representatives from each region…please help us to reach that goal! Please go on the our website to register before Shabbat! You will be glad that you did, and so will we!

Wishing you a peaceful and meaningful Shabbat!

Carol
