After the popularity of our 2018-2019/5779 Calendar Diary, WLCJ is seeking submissions for our 2019-2020/5780 edition!
Women’s League welcomes artwork from our community based around Jewish, Hebrew, cultural, and holiday themes. One lucky winner will also be chosen as the cover art, though we will try to incorporate as many entries as we can. We are seeking vibrant, creative, and original work that celebrates Jewish life!
In addition, members who write are encouraged to submit creative writing for our month pages. These entries can be poems, haiku, recipes, or stories related to Jewish themes, as long as they are original. Entries should be 200 words or less.
Submit your ideas to Erica Slutsky at firstname.lastname@example.org. While we are looking for all kinds of art (i.e. watercolor, paintings, needlepoint), the picture should be able to fit within a four-inch by six-inch cover or a one-inch by one-and-a-half inch thumbnail. Photographs should have a 300 dpi resolution.
Please send in your submissions by September 1, 2018.
Thank you in advance. We hope that your entries will help make this the best Calendar Diary yet!
